TecmanVPN
A new VPN built for Russian enterprise: higher speed, lower latency and failures, stronger encryption. Brand, design system and desktop + mobile apps.

TecmanVPN is a VPN built specifically for Russian clients. Technically it outpaces the alternatives: higher speed, lower latency, fewer failures, stronger security. I created the identity and logo, built the design system and designed the desktop and mobile apps — from one-tap connection to team license management.
Why we took it on
Enterprise VPN solutions on the market are either slow and unstable, or overloaded with an engineer-grade interface where an ordinary employee is afraid to touch anything. Meanwhile the business has its own pain — managing team licenses, controlling traffic and quickly diagnosing when “something won't connect”.
What blocked — and what changed
What blocked
- Alternatives are slow, with high latency and frequent failures.
- Interfaces are overloaded — ordinary users fear connecting.
- No convenient team-license management.
- Opaque traffic and difficult problem diagnosis.
What changed
- Identity and logo: the energy of speed + the reliability of a shield.
- Desktop app: licenses, traffic analysis, log, IP data.
- Mobile app with one-tap connection.
- Design system: neon dark UI, circuit patterns, crisp typography.
Screens that move the work
Desktop · license management
Licenses under control
The desktop app makes team management simple: a license list with expiry dates, activation toggles, choice of connection country and encryption type, inbound/outbound traffic counters — all on one dark screen with neon accents.
- Expiry and one-click license activation
- Country and encryption-type selection (up to AES-256)
Mobile · connect
Protection in one tap
The mobile app boils everything down to one big button. The user sees status, country and speed — and connects with a single tap. All the engineering complexity hides behind a calm, confident interface.
Desktop · traffic analysis
Transparent traffic and diagnostics
The traffic-analysis section shows load, session history and node health. When “something's off”, the admin sees the cause at once — instead of guessing from logs.
Project palette
The outcome in numbers
The brand and interface made a technically strong product approachable too. Employees connect in one tap, admins manage licenses and see traffic painlessly — the VPN stopped being a “scary engineering thing”.
