Overview

TokCheck is a monitoring service for solar power plants. The object page answers three owner questions: what the plant is doing now, whether all is well and how much it earns. The demo is a hybrid plant with 26 inverters: each question gets its own card on a single screen.

The owner sees the result — 122,000 ₽ — and in two glances understands what it is made of.
Backstory

Why we took it on

A plant's data — flows in kilowatts, voltages, inverter statuses — is clear to an engineer, but the owner needs an answer in human terms: is all well, and what's it worth. I built the object page as three layers: live state (power and status), dynamics (balance over a period) and the result in roubles. The technical details — grid phases and each inverter's status — remain but don't overshadow the main thing.

Challenge & solution

What blocked — and what changed

What blocked

  • Energy flows — sun, load, grid, battery — are hard to keep in mind as numbers.
  • The state of the inverter fleet has to be judged at once, without opening each one.
  • An owner doesn't convert generation in kilowatt-hours into money.
  • A plant has many roles — owner, installer, vendor, client — and each needs its own navigation.

What changed

  • A “Current power” diagram: sun, load, grid and battery as nodes around the centre with power at each.
  • A “Status” block: object status, an inverter counter in coloured chips — 16 green, 4 grey, 1 yellow, 3 orange and 2 red — phase parameters L1–L3 and the last message.
  • “Balance”: a stacked chart of income and expense for a day, month, year or all time with six flows and date navigation.
  • “Income”: generation, grid consumption, savings and sales — each row with money — and a large total below.
Process

How I worked

  1. 01

    Three questions, three cards

State, dynamics, money. Each card answers one question and doesn't duplicate the others.

  2. 02

    Colour as status, not decoration

Green, grey, yellow, orange and red — only for inverter states and messages; flows on the chart have their own six colours with a legend.

  3. 03

    Money next to kilowatt-hours

Every income row shows energy and a rouble amount in one line, the total big: 30,000 ₽ saved plus 92,000 ₽ sold.

  4. 04

    Roles in navigation

Home, Objects, Clients, Installers, Vendors and Messages — a section for each role; on an object the tabs “About”, “Devices”, “Analytics”, “Users”, “Structure”.

Screens that move the work

The object page
01

The object page

The header “Stand 10K” with the type “Hybrid SPP 1×3Ph”, address, installed capacities and a list of current states (“Power supply from grid input No.2”, “Sleep, waiting for the Sun”). Next to it a current-power diagram and a status block: object normal, 26 inverters in five colours, grid parameters by phase and the message “Low grid voltage”. Below, “Balance” — an income/expense chart with a legend of six flows — and “Income”: generation 5,340 kWh, savings 30,000 ₽, sales 92,000 ₽, total 122,000 ₽. The header carries a week's weather forecast and notifications.

  • Power diagram, status and money on a single screen
  • Weather forecast in the header, next to generation
  • Day, month, year, all time — one switch for the chart and for income
Results

The outcome in numbers

0
inverters assessed at a glance by coloured status chips
0
energy flows on the balance chart with a shared legend
0
periods — day, month, year, all time — for balance and income
  • The owner gets the answer to the main question — what the plant earned — on the same screen where its state is shown.
  • A fleet of dozens of inverters reads by colour; details open only when needed.
  • One navigation serves owners, installers, vendors and clients.
